In an ongoing effort to highlight careers in the trades and technology as a means towards economic stability, Bellingham Technical College, together with its partners, Whatcom Community College, Western Washington University, Northwest Indian College, Workforce Development Council, Northwest Washington Job Corps, Employment Security, Whatcom Tech Prep Consortium and Whatcom Tradeswomen, hosts an annual conference featuring women working in trade occupations.

Community sponsorship
has allowed us to grant scholarships for schooling or for tools/equipment
for the past two years. Conference attendance is required for eligibility.
